Gothic Brick Architecture: Brickwork dominates the picture of historic places in the north east. The former Cistern Cloister -once a very imposant building- is now a ruin. It was built by monks from the cloister in Dargun. Today there is only the west wall left but the characteristic pointed arches are in good condition and can still be seen. This sight is a popular venue for e.g. the annual Jazz Evening.
